Evtouch driver ubuntu


















 · The touch screen is a NextWindow Voltron " touchscreen. It works great in windows and with a little configuring I can get it to work in Ubuntu. To get it working in Ubuntu I need to install the evtouch driver for X and then add a few lines to the X config.  · After you load the evtouch driver, Ubuntu will find the touch device using the evtouch driver but then the evdev driver apparently wrestles control of the touchscreen away from the evtouch driver. Nov After update to ubuntu , Touchscreen seems to be not calibrated "on" MatchDevicePath "/dev/input/event*" Driver "evtouch" Option. Could you share your config and any other info for your Elo touch screen and Evtouch driver? I followed the directions from here: www.doorway.ru From my (comment #13) it looks like X no long has the evtouch driver we need. there is a utility called evtouch used by the Ubuntu community.
